Chief Judge of Kogi State, Nasir Ajanah, has died at the Abuja COVID-19 isolation centre after he was moved from Lokoja few days ago.

The shocking report of his death came few days after the State lost the President of the Customary Court of Appeal Justice Ibrahim Shaibu Atadoga to a brief illness.

In a statement by Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the government stated the Chief Judge will be remembered for his brilliant justice administration throughout his career as a Judge and his tenure as the Chief Judge of Kogi State.

The government assured that it will work with the family of the late Chief Justice to organise a befitting burial, adding that Ajanah’s shoes will be impossible to fill.

He was born in 1956 to the family of MJ Fari Ajanah in Okene Local Government Area.
