COVID-19: UCH Chief Medical Doctor Tests Negative

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo, after eight days of isolation and treatment, tested negative for Coronavirus.

Head of Public Relations Unit of the hospital Mr Toye Akinrinlola disclosed that the last  test conducted on his blood sample has come out negative.

The PR said they received his test result around 3:45 which is a good news to family, friends and workers of the institution.

It was gathered that, he might have contracted the virus through Board meetings held in hospital.

It would be recalled that the CMD had tested positive to the virus seven days ago, while, provost of the College of Medicine and his deputy have also tested positive for the virus but are still in isolation receiving treatment.
