The Presidency has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is taking a two-step approach to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
It further explained that the approach will deal with the security of the lives of the people, as well as easing the effect of the virus on businesses in the country.
The Presidency disclose this in a tweet on its verified Twitter handle on Sunday.
“In Nigeria, we are taking a two-step approach. First, to protect the lives of our fellow Nigerians and residents living here and second, to preserve the livelihoods of workers and business owners."
It would be recalled that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed five new cases of COVID-19 in the country in Lagos, Katsina and Kwara bringing total cases of the infection to 323.
