Reports says, the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi today, March 22, provided buses to convey students schooling in the Ekiti State back to their various states following the closure of tertiary institutions in the state.
According to an eye witness who pleaded anonymity, revealed the students took off at NNPC, Iyin road in Ado Ekiti, adding that, the state government also distributed hand sanitizers to everyone as the arrived the scene.
Also it was spotted on social media where an unknown source, appreciated the Governor of the state for the opportunity given to the students to return home safe.
It would be recalled that the State recorded a confirmed covid-19 case recently, and has banned social and religious gatherings, shut both primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, orders civil servants to work from home to curtail the further spread of the virus in the state.
