What Nigerians Are Saying About The COVID-19 Cases Recorded In Kogi

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed two Coronavirus cases in Kogi state as the first ever to be recorded in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic in Nigeria.

Nigeria recorded the first case of COVID-19 about three months ago, however, Kogi and Cross-river states have being COVID-19 free until Wednesday when NCDC confirmed two cases in Kogi State.

There were controversies in the media lately as the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello disclosed the state will never announce fictitious cases, not even under pressure.

Recall, the NCDC sent some team members to the State after several reports of suspected cases, the Governor, however sent the delegates out of the  they state when they didn't accept to be quarantined.

Nigerians have however reacted to the report of the virus in Kogi, some are of the opinion that the cases are manufactured, while some are thinking otherwise.

Dear @NCDCgov how do you come up with the two fictitious index case in Kogi State? We have three isolation centers in Kogi State, where can we find these two people? God Almighty will expose you all. It shall not be well with those of you that are pilling up figures for money.
