SHOCKING! Mother, Child Found Headless In Osun State

Report says, headless bodies of two persons believed to be a mother and her baby have been found near a primary school in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

ThePunch reported that Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident on Wednesday, and said the corpses were dumped opposite the AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Ile-Ife.

Residents of the area also said that the corpses must have been dumped at the scene on Tuesday evening.

They explained that the bodies were without clothes, while the baby was wearing a diaper.

“When the corpses were found, we contacted officials of the local government council in the town and they have evacuated the bodies and deposited them in the morgue,” Opalola stated.

The PPRO said the state Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, directed a thorough investigation into the incident with a view to bringing to justice the perpetrators.

She urged members of the public to provide information that would assist the police to get to the root of the matter.
