SPORTS: Why I Don't Fancy A Move To EPL - Toni Kroos

d

Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos, in a recent interview revealed why he isn't really drawn into the prospect of playing in one of the most competitive leagues in the world as he feels the demand to deliver  high quality  performance might  be  a bit difficult  owing  to nature taking its toll.

At certain point in time premiership giants Manchester United had a verbal agreement place to sign Kroos that summer before David Moyes was sacked and the move never fell through .

Now 30, the Real Madrid midfielder says the chances of moving to England are diminishing dramatically, as midfielder is keen to see out the three years on his contract at the Spanish capital and says that at 33, it would be  rather too late for him to pursue a career in the Premier League.

In the interview Kroos said:

"I definitely plan to be with Real for these three years "then it is a good time at 33 to question yourself: what does it look like physically, what does motivation look like - I still feel like it to keep going?

"If something comes together and you say: ‘Okay, one more year here, because you are just good enough and you still feel like it’, I would not rule it out. But then a move to England, which is also played very physically, I can’t imagine that at 33.”

It should be noted that, Kroos was also part of Bayern Munich squad coached by Pep Guardiola during his time in the German Bundesliga
