COVID-19 Lockdown: President Buhari To Address The Nation Tomorrow

President Muhammadu Buhari will address Nigerians on Monday, May 18 amid the outbreak of coronavirus in NIGERIA. 

The national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani, disclosed this on Channels TV on Sunday, May 17.

President Buhari’s national broadcast will be coming as the first of three phases of the gradual easing of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown elapses on Monday, May 18. The President is expected to announce the next phase and measures to be taken by individuals and businesses in the country.

The national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19 said the president would decide whether or not the country would go ahead with the second phase of the phased easing of the lockdown.

Meanwhile, three weeks ago, April 27 to be precise, President Buhari partially lifted the COVID-19 lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja over the outbreak of coronavirus in Nigeria.

LIFESTYLEGIST reported that President Buhari partially lifted the stoppage of all movements in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in a presidential broadcast on Monday evening, April 27.
