Kwara State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Raji Rasak, has revealed that the two positive cases of COVID-19, currently at Sobi Isolation Centre, Ilorin, are not showing symptoms.
The commissioner who spoke with reporters in Ilorin said,
“The two cases are eating well and have no single symptom of the COVID-19. In fact, we are expecting the results of the follow-up tests on them any moment from now.”
He added that, results of 12 of the 16 samples taken of all the persons believed to have had close contact with the confirmed cases came out negative.
In a similar development, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, urged the people to be united and support the government in eradicating the virus from the state.
