'Oluwo of Iwo offers himself as a "sacrifice" to save the world from COVID-19' (Watch video)

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi has requested that God should save the world of the coronavirus pandemic and he offered himself to be inflicted with the virus so the rest of the world can be free.

The monarch said this in a video going viral on Twitter.

The traditional ruler while sitting on his throne, said a prayed against the coronavirus.

He further  requested that the virus should come to him and leave the rest of the world alone.

He said,

"I'm not king, God is King. You created everything," 

He added, God knows the name of the virus and that He should inflict him with it.

He further said that God instructed him to take the action.
