Ekiti State Governor, Dr John Kayode has tested Negative for Coronavirus.
Fayemi who made this known via his Twitter account said despite having meetings with two people who have tested positive for coronavirus, he has tested negative.
He however thanked everyone who showed concern.
He wrote
" I just received my test result from NCDC and it is Negative. However, this calls for continued vigilance on the part of everyone. Covid-19 is real and we cannot afford to be complacent. JKF"
It would be recalled that, Gov. Fayemi announced earlier that he has sent his sample for test due to the fact that he had contact with the president's Chief of staff and Bauchi Governor who had already tested positive for coronavirus
