Report says Nigeria has confirmed a new case of coronavirus in the commercial city of Lagos. This followed the arrival of a Nigerian woman from the United Kingdom last Friday.
The state’s commissioner of health, Akin Abayomi, revealed this during a press conference, earlier today. The National Center for Disease Control revealed that the patient developed signs during her 2weeks self-isolation.
The NCDC also reported that “She is clinically stable & is being treated at Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos,”
The NCDC also said that it is important to note that this new case is currently the only case in the country.
While Nigerians have reacted differently on social media calling on the government to close the airlines as part of preventive measures.
Several African countries have closed their borders and have banned public gatherings but the Nigerian Government has not done anything of such...
