Coronavirus: Niger State Declares Curfew Indefinitely

The Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has declared curfew in the state from 8am to 8pm indefinitely to take effect from Wednesday 25 March.

The governor made the declaration while addressing journalists at the State house in Minna on Monday.

While he added that, public gatherings of more than 20 people is prohibited while street hawking and begging are also banned.

This is coming barely hours after the Governor of Bauchi State begins a 14day self isolation because he had contact with Atiku Abubakar's son who has tested positive for Covid-19.
