Panic all over, as Nigeria Confirmed the first coronavirus case in the city of Lagos.
This followed the arrival of an Italian man from Milan to the populated Lagos early this week.
Though, cases had earlier been reported in countries like Egypt and Algeria, but no case was confirmed in the sub-Saharan region until now.
Commissioner Akin Abayomi revealed to the press that, the man was moved to Lagos State Biosecurity Facilities for isolation and testing.

He added that, the patient was accurately stable with little or no symptoms and he's being treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.
The minister of health, Osagie Ehanire, also in his statement stated that "we have been beefing up our preparedness capabilities since the first confirmation of cases in China, and we will use all the resources made available by the government to respond to this case".
It should be noted that, preventive measures are to be put in place, especially as Nigeria, the most populated country in Africa records the first case in the country.
