#SAYNOTORAPE: AGAIN! Lady Reportedly Raped, Murdered In Ibadan

Report says  an “Hijab sister” Barakat Bello was allegedly raped and murdered in her Dad’s house by some unknown men in Akinyele Local Government Area in Ibadan yesterday.

The Muslim hijabi sister was said to be 18 and a first-year student in federal college of animal health and production in Ibadan.

So many Nigerians are still in shock and anger over the rape and murder of Uwa in Benin, the lady who was raped and murdered in a Redeemed Christian Church.

Kazeem Elepo, the father who confirmed the incident said that the police in the area had begun an investigation into the matter

He said,

“I was not at home when the incident happened. The younger sister was not at home too, she went for Quaranic lessons but when she returned home, she saw her at the back of the house with deep cuts all over her body. She had been raped and killed.

“Somebody called me on the phone that I should come home but he refused to tell me what happened. When I got home, I saw that my daughter had been raped and stabbed to death.”

Nigerians have expressed great dissatisfaction and have called on the government to handle the case as a national emergency.
