Following the continued killings and unrest in the northern part of the country, residents have called on President Buhari to resign if he won't protect the lives of people in the north at all cost.
Most Northerners reminded President Buhari and the All Progressive Congress (APC) how they called for the Former President's resignation due to Insecurity in the north.
They however called on the president to resign from his office if he does not have the power to save the Northern Nigeria from everyday killings.
They further shared their votes in 2019, stressing they supported President Buhari with all they had to ensure he won the election and protect them from bandit attacks adding that this is not the changed they asked for.
They however lamented the government has ignored them as bandits no longer operate at night but confidently in the broad day light adding that no intervention in kastina, even though it's Buhari's home State.
Some argued the government are sponsoring the bandits as the president, top officials in the military and politics are from the north, yet they still have to trend #Northernlivesmatters to call them to action in their homes.
LIFESTYLEGIST gathered few reactions online:
Just look at how these criminals are moving freely, these are people that can be wiped out in a single day. Is not like we don't have the Army and Airforce.I don't know who need to hear this, but the government must be involved.#NorthernLivesMatter #NorthernLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/atLiUW01pI

This is how the bandits are moving freely on the road. Village people that were not attacked yet are waving hands as sign of respect to them. Because they loose hope from the government. What else do you need to prove you that the APC Government is a failure?#NorthernLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/dkQZ8gR5xm— LANDLORD™️✨🤴🏽 (@aminuyaro_) June 11, 2020
Dear @MBuhari, kindly resign if you can’t protect our lives at all cost...That is the major reason you are on the presidential seat#NorthernLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/XFtgMcUfiP

@MBuhari, In 2015, you said it was a big disgrace for the previous admin to deal with insurgents for 5 years to the extent of seeking help from neighboring countries. Now, in your 5 years in office, not only is BH existing, but Banditry is the new norm. #NorthernLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/HaOSbLcCzd
