Osun SSG, Oyebamiji, Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Secretary to the Osun State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji and some of his staff have tested positive for Coronavirus.

This was disclosed by the State’s Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu in a press statement given to newsmen on Tuesday.

The commissioner added that, the state recorded 10 new cases, bringing the total number of infections to 127 with 74 active cases, while he added that, the State successfully treated and discharged 48 patients with five deaths recorded.

He further said, the Osun State Government will be setting up a mobile court to try and sentence violators of safety protocols and guidelines.

He however urged residents to support the government to contain the spread of the virus.
