The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has urged residents of Oyo State experiencing strange fevers, sudden loss of taste/smell or other COVID-19 symptoms to kindly visit nearest testing cente adding that tests are free.
He made the call while giving update on COVID-19 situation update in the state on his verified twitter page on Monday morning.
The Governor confirmed the state recorded sixteen new COVID-19 cases on Sunday bringing total cases to 507.
He further added that the new cases are from Ibadan North West (4), Ibadan North (3), Ibadan South West (3), Lagelu (2), Egbeda (2) and Itesiwaju (2) LGAs of the state.

1. Free COVID-19 tests are being conducted at community-based testing centres across Oyo State. If you have any strange fevers, sudden loss of taste/smell or other known COVID-19 symptoms, please visit the nearest centre to get tested. Details in the attached card above.
2. The COVID-19 confirmation tests for sixteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE. The cases are from Ibadan North West (4), Ibadan North (3), Ibadan South West (3), Lagelu (2), Egbeda (2) and Itesiwaju (2) LGAs. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 507.
