Oyo State Government has confirmed six new COVID-19 cases as reported by the NCDC yesterday.
The State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde who confirmed the development in a statement said the new cases are from the same organization with previous cases.
The Governor fulfilled his promise as he identified the company as iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area.
He further added that, the company is under lock and intensive contact tracing is ongoing.

The Governor wrote:
1. The COVID-19 confirmation tests for six suspected cases came back POSITIVE. All six cases are from the same organisation, iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 143.
The company remains shut and will be decontaminated. The Emergency Operations Centre has continued intensive contact tracing to identify persons of interest linked to members of staff in the company.
