The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, while giving an update on the fight against the deadly virus said two confirmed COVID-19 Patients absconded from the state's isolation center.
Governor Makinde who revealed this on his Twitter page said the state had 33 confirmed cases prior to when the two confirmed cases absconded.
''Of the 33 active cases being managed by the state, two have absconded, possibly to their permanent places of residence. This brings the number of active cases in Oyo State to 31.'' he tweeted
