COVID-19: Makinde Gives Update On New Case In Oyo

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Monday confirmed that the State has recorded another case of COVID-19.

Makinde, who is also the Chairman of the COVID-19 task force in the State, disclosed this via series of tweets on his Twitter handle Monday evening.

He said that the new case is a patient from Ibadan South West local government area of the State.

Makinde added that with the new case, the State now has 65 cases of coronavirus.

“The COVID-19 confirmation test for one suspected case came back positive. The case is from Ibadan South West Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State as at 8 pm today, is sixty-five.

“We are also renovating the 10-bed isolation centre at Agbami Chest Centre, Jericho.
