Tafida Abubakar Ila, emir of Rano, has died one day after he was admitted in the hospital over an unknown ailment.
Faithu Bichi, his media aide confirmed this to the newsmen, saying he died on Saturday evening.
Also the secretary, Rano Emirate council, Sank Haruna, while confirming the news to newsmen said,
“I’m now on my way to the hospital, the emir is dead."
The late emir was on Friday admitted at Mallam Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for an undisclosed ailment.
He was later referred to the Nasarawa Specialist Hospital for further medical attention, where he died on Saturday.
