President Muhammadu Buhari has extended condolences to the family of late Galadima Modu-Sheriff, father of former Borno state governor, Ali Modu-Sheriff.
The President who described the death of his in-law and father-in-law to Halima, his daughter, as a personal loss to him, prays Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
It was gathered that the late Galadima died in a fire incident at his home in Damboa, Maiduguri in the early hours of Thursday.
President Buhari however, expressed sadness and commiserated with Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, the Shehu of Borno, and the entire Borno Emirate Council.
The President further appealed to family, friends and relatives who mourn the deceased in the midst of the present challenges facing the country to please maintain social distancing, keep safe and healthy
