Fire in the Accountant General’s office a day after PDP called for an audit? Fishy' - Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former spokesman to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the fire incident at the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in Abuja.

LIFESTYLEGIST had reported that some rooms at the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in Abuja popularly known as Treasure House caught fire on Wednesday .

Though, the situation was contained, the cause is yet unknown.

Meanwhile, reacting to the incident, Omokri described the fire at the AGF’s office as ‘fishy’ and coming at a time the country is on lockdown and battling the spread of Coronavirus.

Reno Omokri  wrote on his Twitter page:

 “There is a CoronaVirus lockdown in Abuja and the Accountant General’s office burnt down?

“This is an office that didn’t burn when it was a beehive of activities, only to burn when it became a ghost town? What are the odds? An accident? Very fishy

The fire in the Accountant General’s office started a day after @OfficialPDPNig called for an audit into the so called subsidy regime that General @MBuhari’s government claims to have spent over ₦2 trillion on? How convenient! Who is fooling who? 

But should we be surprised that the accountant general’s office got burnt while there was a #CoronaVirus lockdown in Abuja and his staff are meant to be at home? Didn’t a snake swallow $100,000, while a monkey carted ₦70 million under General @MBuhari?
