COVID-19: Anglican Communion Donates N10m To FG

The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has  donated goods worth N10 million to the Federal government as part of efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation was received by the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha in his office in Abuja, yesterday.

  

The SGF, in a statement by Mr Willie Bassey, director of Information in the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), noted that the Anglican Communion was among the first to advise adherents to obey the government as regards congregational meetings as well as the stay-at-home order.

He further thanked the church for supporting the government to fight the disease.
