Coronavirus Pandemic: Donald Trump Warns Toughest Week Ahead As Death In US Near 10,000 (VIDEO)

Members of the US coronavirus task force have warned Americans to brace up for dark days ahead.

Donald Trump who made the statement during the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing  said the  next two weeks will be the toughest yet in terms of deaths due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The President stressed that the U.S. will reach a horrific point in terms of death, while he voiced his optimism that “it will be a point where things will start changing for the better.”

He added,

There will be a lot of death, unfortunately,  want as few lives lost as possible.”

He further said Federal and state officials will focus on the hardest-hit areas, such as New York and New Jersey.

Trump noted,

“New York is the hottest of all hot spots, with New Jersey next door,” Trump said. “Where you have people on top of people, it’s always tough.”

It should be henoted that, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the U.S. reached 337,620 as of midnight on Sunday local time (0400 GMT on Monday), with 9,643 deaths, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has said he is praying for his 'good friend' Boris Johnson, after the prime minister was moved to the intensive care unit (ICU) of St Thomas’ hospital in London.
