Following the recent reports released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control that Kano recorded 4 COVID-19 cases as against 74 earlier announced by the state Governor, Nigerians have reacted to the contradictory reports.
Earlier in the news on Saturday, it was gathered that the Gov of Kano announced the state recorded 74 new cases on Saturday out of 489 samples tested, however NCDC reported Kano recorded only 4 cases.
Diverse reactions emerged on social media as citizens are confused on what to believe.
While some are of the opinion that it was an error or maybe the media misquoted him, some said the state is inflating the numbers to get the attention of the Federal government.
