COVID-19: Academy of Science shuts down office Indefinitely

Report says, the Nigerian Academy of Science has shut down its office indefinitely to prevent the further spread of coronavirus in the country.

The Executive Secretary of the academy, Dr. Oladoyin Odubanjo, revealed this in a statement, where he said all staff and fellows of the organisation would work from home till everything returns to normal in the country.

She further their continued to support the government’s efforts in curbing the spread of the dreaded virus, while he urged Nigerians and other nationals in the country to stay safe and healthy by adhering to the recommended measures given by the government and its agencies to prevent further spread of the novel Covid-19.

He concluded that the academy remains committed to improving the quality of life for all Nigerians by providing evidence-informed advice on areas of operations to the government at appropriate time.
