Amids the contemplations that, the Chief of Staff of President, Abba Kyari has been flown out of the country to an unspecified hospital in Europe for treatment after he tested positive for covid-19, the Chief of Staff has revealed that he is in Lagos to continue his treatment.
Abba Kyari who has remained silent since he tested positive for Covid-19 last week disclosed this last night.
He stated this in a statement on Sunday, stressing that his relocation to Lagos is to seek further medical treatment, and that will be responsible for his medical bills.
He further assured Nigerians that he will resume back at work very soon.
The statement reads:
“I am writing to let you know that on medical advice, I was transfer to Lagos later today (yesterday) for additional tests and observation.
“This is a precautionary measure: I feel well, but last week, I tested positive for coronavirus, the pandemic that is sweeping the world. I have followed all the protocols government has announced to self-isolate and quarantine.“I have made my own care arrangements to avoid further burdening the public health system, which faces so many pressures.“Like many others that will test also positive, I have not experienced high fever or other symptoms associated with this new virus and have been working from home. I hope to be back at my desk very soon
