The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed that Africa has recorded 17 coronavirus deaths since the outbreak was confirmed in the continent.
Even though Africa was among the last continent to experience the virus, 633 confirmed cases of coronavirus has been recorded in 33 countries across the continent.
In the last 24 hours, Gambia, Mauritius and Zambia announced their first confimed cases of coronavirus.
While the deaths recorded in the continent were in Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
