Abuja Confirms Three Cases of COVID-19 - PUNCH

Report says the Federal capital territory, Abuja, has confirmed three cases of Coronavirus.

It was gathered that the index case is an official at the Federal Inland Revenue Service and was one of the passengers on the British Airways’ flight that landed on March 13, 2020.

While a medical doctor disclosed to journalists that the three new cases had been transferred to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.

However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) hasn't confirmed it yet, as another test would be conducted by the NCDC before it can be confirmed.

It should be noted that, the country currently confirmed 12 COVID-19 cases, and as soon as the NCDC confirms the tests, it would indicate that the Country has recorded 15 COVID-19 cases.
