Charity: Ojei's Foundation Tackles Unemployment, Uneducation, Seeks Partnerships

2020 ACTIVITIES

Evelyn Ojei Foundation has continued to play a critical role in the forefront of humanitarian activities such as developing societies, alleviating poverty, improving communities amongst  others in Nigeria.

The Foundation is a popular Charity  Non Governmental Organization dedicated to providing humanitarian services immensely for the needy in the society to reduce unemployment and increase the standard of living in the country.

The foundation was established in 2006, supported and funded by UPS Foundation responsible for facilitating community involvement to local, national and global communities.

The Evelyn foundation in 2022 extended it's training services to catering skills acquisitions like baking, cooking and so on.

Chemical product training which includes liquid/ tablet soap making, detergents, disinfectant, hair conditioners and petroleum jelly.

In continuation it held intensive training on Computer and Engineering skills acquisition programme. Under Engineering they had CCTV Installation, Solar Installation, Fire alarm systems, Car Tracking Installation and Home Automation skills acquisition training. While in Computer training they had Computer engineering and graphics training.

All of these have greatly influenced and impacted positively in live's of many with results and testimonies. 

One of the testifyers shared her experience and how it changed her life entirely. She encouraged the present students to put in their effort in whatever skills they are learning.

The foundation also announced summer holiday lessons for children with free bus to accomodate children from remote villages  to the lesson venue.

The President of the foundation Mrs Evelyn Ojei who acknowledged The UPS Foundation efforts in supporting the training and welfare stated the foundation through her skills acquisition programmes has decreased the level of unemployment in the country.

She however called on government, philanthropists, private companies, individuals amongst others to support credible NGOs to meet the needs and aspiration of the masses during this economy hardships. 

The need to continue to put in place measures to empower the less  privileged and eradicate poverty cannot be overemphasized, hence the need to continue to support Evelyn Ojei Foundation to make the Country a better place to live in.
