Infamous Haunted Doll "Annabelle" Escapes From Occult Museum, Sends Chills Down The Spines of People

The news of the sudden escape of Annabelle, the so-called haunted doll from a protected Occult museum earlier today sent chill down the spines of the internet community and people around the world. 

The doll Anabelle which is the the inspiration of The Conjuring horror franchise, was rumored to have escaped the museum where it has been safely kept since 1970 to the outside world. 

Alot of people who heard the rumor and knew the weird story of the doll were scared to the bones and panicked as the rumor gained popularity 

However, the rumor was laid to rest when Tony Spera, the son-in-law of famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, took to the family's YouTube channel and confirmed Annabelle was still in her glass enclosure in the Occult Museum in Connecticut, despite all the rumors spreading on social media on Friday.  

He said "I'm here to tell you something, I don't know if you want to hear this or not, but Annabelle did not escape,' Spera said in a selfie video as he dramatically turned his camera to bring the infamous doll into view behind him.

'Annabelle's alive — well, I shouldn't say alive — Annabelle's here, in all her infamous glory. She never left the museum.'

All the scare-fest chatter started swirling on social media when fans noticed that someone had wrote on her Wikipedia page that Annabelle had 'escaped on Aug. 14 at 3 a.m.' 

In the 1:48 video, Spera couldn't resist poking fun at some of the theories people shared about where she had gone.

'Annabelle's here. She didn't go anywhere. She didn't take a trip. She didn't fly first class and she didn't go out to visit her boyfriend,' he said as he showed Annabelle in her glass case. 

'So here she is. Let's put the rumors to rest, guys. I appreciate all the concern. I'd be concerned if Annabelle really did leave because she's nothing to play with.'

The Warrens, also explained the original story of doll stating that a student nurse was given the doll in 1970 and after seeing the doll behave strangely and move throughout her apartment, she sought the help of a psychic medium who told her it was inhabited by the spirit of a deceased girl named Annabelle.

Just as shown in The Conjuring, the doll exhibited frightening behavior that prompted the student and her roommate to contact the Warrens for help.

The couple, who have investigated the reports pronounced the doll as being demonically possessed and incarcerated it in a special glass box at their home, which later became The Warrens' Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.

Tony also revealed that the real Annabelle doll — said to be a Raggedy Ann — looks much different from the porcelain doll creation that scared fans in The Conjuring films and its Annabelle spin-offs and the public had nothing to be worried about.

The news of the haunted doll's escape was earlier taken with quite some levels of seriousness, especially as the year 2020 has been characterized by some already frightening events and circumstances including the Covid-19 pandemic and other unusual happenings.
