The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has revealed there's no plan to reopen tertiary institutions in the country.
Dr. Sani while speaking on Raypower FM on Tuesday, stated that the PTF is currently concerned with measures to curb community transmission of COVID-19.
He added that, the reopening of tertiary institutions, bars, restaurants and other social activities” could enhance community transmission of COVID-19.
However, he added that inorder not to lose a whole year in terms of primary to secondary school transition, the president has approved the reopening of schools for the graduating students to enable them write their examinations.
