The former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has finally succumbed to death after several days in coma as a result of Coronavirus complications.
The 70-year-old had been on a life support machine since last week at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Several reports went viral last week Thursday on social media suggesting the National Deputy Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) had passed away.

However, his media aide and family debunked the death rumors on social media and confirmed the former governor, was alive.
It was earlier reported in the week reported that Ajimobi may not make any recovery going by the observations of medical experts around him.
It was gathered that the former governor had a lung surgery, while his kidneys also failed.
