NYC Will Chart A New Course For Ekiti Youths - New Chairman

The Newly Appointed Nigerian Youth Congress Chairman, Ekiti State, Comrade Tosin A. Adesuyi has promised to mobilize Ekiti youths home and abroad to come together and chart a new course or trend to address the mindset of the younger generation towards learning to trend a positive paths of values.

The New Chairman in a statement made available to the press, lauded the efforts of the Governing Board and National Executive Council of the Nigerian Youth Congress for bringing Nigeria youths thus far, and most especially believing in his capacity to pioneer the successful take off of the organization in Ekiti State.

Comrade Tosin further called on all stakeholders within and outside the boarders of Ekiti to support his administration in the efforts to rewrite the history of Ekiti youths and restore the pride and honour.

He stressed the need for members to bury horrible past memories to behold the better future ahead the new era as such will only bring back sad experiences, betrayal of demography and mistakes of the past.

He however added that, Ekiti young minds should team up and use ideas, resources, links and networks to address all forms of problems in the state, while he highlighted four points the NYC under the pioneer team in Ekiti will address;

We will make available a common platform for all concerns –individuals, groups or bodies to express thoughts and opinion that will reshape and sharpen our destiny. Thereby restoring the lost honour of an average Ekiti youth. 

We shall form a rallying point for well-meaning Ekiti youths –home and abroad to come together and chart a new course or trend to address the mindset of the younger generation towards learning to trend a positive paths of values.

We shall seek and create links for and amongst Ekiti youths to address unemployment, rascality, hooliganism, cultism and political thuggery ravaging our youths, using the available network, resources, and initiatives.

It is also not lost on us that our division as youths makes us weaker and prone to molestation in the social demographics. Hence, we shall seek to unite all youth’s structures to adopt a single but common agenda without given to political affinity, ideological backgrounds, cultural ties and or sentiments of personalities.

It should be noted that Comrade Tosin A. Adesuyi  was on Monday 18 May, 2020 announced the Nigerian Youth Congress Chairman, Ekiti State.
