"Lawlessness, Funke Own No Reach This One O" - Nigerians Condemn Abba Kyari's Burial (Photos/Video)

Following the Burial of Abba Kyari, late chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerians have condemned the arrangement due the violation of social distancing which they argued could be disastrous.

Meanwhile, earlier, the NCDC warned against mass gatherings, noting that Nigerians should adhere to its guidelines on safe burial of victims of the virus.

NCDC wrote,

“Even at this time, as we mourn loved ones lost to COVID-19, including recently deceased Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, we need to refrain from attending mass gatherings to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

However, after several pictures from the Burial scene emerged online, Nigerians have expressed dissatisfaction, while some said social gathering wasn't maintained, some argued that health workers who died while saving others should be respected as well.
