Mohammed Babandede, the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has recovered from COVID19 after he tested negative two times.

Recall that the Immigration boss in March announced he had tested positive for the novel disease after returning from a trip to the UK and went into self-isolation.

Meanwhile, in a tweet posted on Tuesday April 14, Babandede said he has recovered from COVID-19.

“I just receive my 2nd Negative report on COVID-19, I will like to thank all of you for your supplications. This victory is from God, we thank Him for giving me the opportunity to have the experience which is more than my education and public service.”

As  at the time of filing this report, COVID-19 positive cases in Nigeria hit 373 after NCDC confirmed eleven more cases in Lagos on Tuesday night
